Delicious chicken enchiladas and wonderful chile relleno! The roasted tomato salsa is the best I've tasted anywhere! I wish I could obtain the recipe! And I wish Sonoma Taco would sell it in large containers!!!

A long time customer but I guess I've not yet reviewed! They deserve accolades! A solid 4 for good food and portions plus their attention to healthier Mexican food. Always efficient and friendly, I love their thin, warm chips and salsas more than most places, especially their pico de gallo. Tacos come with beans which I appreciate as it elevates it to a meal for under $7. Yes, sometimes the beans can overtake the meat (usually carnitas for me) but not often. Had an Estrella Jalisco beer which I'd not tried before. Enjoyed it more than a Corona.

I don't like crunchy onion chunks in my food. The chicken burritos and the black pepper salsa has zero crunchy chunks. It was fantastic. The mustache guy was very polite and helpful. I forgot to take a picture until I was mostly done. But it's good. Eat here.

I love Sonoma Taco Shop SO much! José is so kind, funny, friendly, and dedicated. My food always tastes amazing. Also, the salsa verde with chips is so incredibly delicious!!! If you go, get that salsa! Definitely recommend.

They are so kind. The food is so good. And healthy and affordable?! Also in my opinion one of the top 3 burritos in Marin county.

Best giant burritos in the area. I also love the taquitos a la carte (with corn tortilla). I don't particularly love their red rice as a side by itself. I find it a bit hard and flavorless but it compliments the burrito well. Service is always quick and the cashiers are friendly. Place is simple but always clean. We order from here once or twice a month and will probably keep doing it for as long as we live in the area.

My first time here. The grilled chicken enchilada and chile rellenos Mexican dinner was delicious. I recommend the enchiladas the most. The service was done with a smile by the host and the cooks brought my food out to me at my table with pride in their work. The restaurant has a long dining area which can accommodate a large group of probably 30 towards the rear of the restaurant. The ambiance is that of a typical counter ordering experience and I must say that I saw a very diverse set of customers including some hard working Hispanic members of the community. With over 30 years of service to San Rafael it was a pleasure to support this business. I highly recommend this to everyone. Oh, and there is a heart healthy menu giving a lot of options to meet a friend or business colleague. Thanks again Sonoma Taco Shop!
